We put a lot of importance on creating memories. We want to capture and record every special moment of our life. People say, ‘ when nothing remains, memories do’. So we put a huge emphasis on the positive role of memories. But isn’t it the same memory that drags us into negativity?
One of my friends taught me a valuable lesson on memories and I want to share it with you.
He said, ‘ memories can be the most dangerous thing in your life when you’re re alone, when you’ve no one to share them with, when you’ve no one to laugh at those craziest moments’. So memories feel bitter when you are alone, when you’re unloved.
But the same memories turn pleasant when you’ve someone to share them with, when you’ve someone to laugh at your past moments, when someone is there to make the scariest moments of the past into humorous ones, when someone is there to assure you that this was not the end of memories. There’s more to go’.
